Ross & Guide". 1243 Private Victor Ross, born Sydney NSW 1891. Resident in Erskinville. Enl AIF 24/2/15, 'D' Coy, 18 Bn. Noted as Wounded in Action, slight, Gallipoli & WIA (2nd occasion) GSW, head in France, probably around Pozieres, June 1916. This last wound resulted in the loss of his right eye.
