KG Covers, Picture Postcards & Banknotes - Special AuctionGreat Britain: Test Note produced by De La Rue Currency dated around 2011 with portrait of Albert Einstein. It is a special note as it is the Specimen type of a later presented Test Note. It is red overprinted with De La Rue Seals and the word "SPECIMEN" on both sides. Furthermore it has one additional security feature (OVI ink by Sicpa) on back side which was not any more used on the later presented note. The note has the ficitve denomination "50" and is horizontally designed on front, vertically designed on back. It is intaglio printed on real banknote paper with several security features. At left side on front the note has a broad holographic security foil, the same type that was later used on the banknote Kazakhstan 5000 Tenge 2011. Furthermore the note has a windowed security thread with imprint "E=MC2" and a watermark (portrait of Einstein) at right. Unique on the collectors market as Specimen. Condition: UNC. Enschede Security Print" dated 2012 and intaglio printed on real banknote paper with security features. The note shows a portrait of Ludwig van Beethoven at right and the denomination "100". It has a windowed security thread in paper with microprinting inside. The note was a coproduction between the company Enschede, Merck Security Inks and Arjowiggins Security (paper producer). This vertically designed note has two larger windows at lower area, one of them overprinted with OVI ink by SICPA (Switzerland). The note has serial number AA000000 and shows a portrait of a crane on front. Special about this test note is that it was additionally overprinted with Specimen seals and Specimen writing by De La Rue on front and back side. Usually they are only seen without these overprints.
