1881: Liberty Head, remainders collection, comprising imperforate used and unused stamp issues on album pages, some attractive and choice singles, the odd pair, some with better postmark, a useful and good to fine assembly. Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.

1882/87: Two covers, both with horizontal pairs of 5 c. green, perf. 13½; one an 1883 envelope franked with the first printing (positions 35-36), sent from Port Au Prince to Boston, with 'JAMAICA / TRANSIT' mark; the other an 1887 wrapper with a pair from the New Dies, sent from Cayes to Lyon, some soiling; a scarce duo of covers. 1887: Salomon, group of four covers franked with 1 c. lake, presented upon two album pages, comprising two formula postal stationery cards franked with single 1 c., one used internally the other to New York with tax mark for underpayment; also a mixed franking cover franked with six 1 c. and two 2 c. sent to Germany and the reverse portion of a cover (back only) with ten 1 c. affixed including a block, with a transit cancel from Paris....

1887/91: Salomon, small study of the 5 c. green, comprising four covers and an unused block of eight (4x2), includes; two registered covers franked with four 5 c. (x1 strip of four other two pairs), an example sent to Falmouth, Cornwall (Plymouth & Falmouth datestamps to reverse) and another sent to London, England; also a mourning cover franked with a pair from Aux Cayes to Hamburg apparently underpaid with tax marks and two mansuscript...

1878: Morazan 1 c. violet, a horizontal pair used on 1889 Printed Matter rate cover (with corner clipped to show the printed contents) mailed to Boston, USA, tied by negative "star in circle" obliterators struck in violet. Reverse with Boston arrival cds (Nov 23). Two small stains, one on address and 'W' re-written, another on lower stamp, not greatly affecting the appearanceof a very rare franking with just three such recorded Scott = $ 1'...

1878: Morazan 1 c. violet, ten examples used on 1889 cover to Manchester, UK endorsed "via New Orleans", with reverse showing a single example and a strip of six to pay the 10 c. / 1 real rate. Adhesives, one with fault at base, all tied by circular three ring target handstamps in purple with oval framed "ADMINISTRACION DEPARTMENTAL / DE CORREOS / COMAYAGUA" at left (Oct 30). 1878: Morazan 1 c. violet, the astonishing usage of twenty examples on obverse and reverse of double rate 1889 cover to Berne, Switzerland all tied by three ring circular target handstamps in violet with oval "ADMINISTRACION DEPARTMENTAL / DE CORREOS / YUSCARAN" (Oct 8) with both the day and final year date filled in manuscript. Reverse with "Tegucigalpa" transit datestamp, New Orleans cds (Oct 29) and Bern arrival (Nov 11). Some unsuprising...

Bogert in New York and tied by negative 'star in circle' handstamps struck in blue, and by oval "REPUBLIQUE DE HONDURAS / BUREAU POSTAL D'ÉXCHANGE / TEGUCIGALPA" datestamps (Aug 20) in violet when 1 c. and two 2 c. were added...
