1851/60: 6 d. olive-yellow on blued paper, a fine used example with clear to large margins all round, used on 15 June 1852 entire letter from St. John's to New York, cancelled by manuscript pen cross with STEAM handstamp adjacent in black. Reverse with circular "FAVOR'S EXPRESS / BOSTON" Forwarding Agent's cachet in red and obverse with "Boston / 5 cts." circular datestamp (June 17) in black. File folds well away from the adhesive, a very scarce usage. Cert. RPSL (2024) Scott 2 = $ 1'800.
