1847 N-12 R3 Repunched 8 EF40. Nice glossy medium chocolate brown. Smooth and attractive showing only trivial contact marks, none notable. A choice cent if not for some loose dirt in protected areas (a proper bath might be worth another 5 points). Rare TDS, state c late, with an additional thin rim cud break from star 12 to star 13 in addition to the earlier strong rim cud break at star 9. Removed from an NGC slab graded AU58BN (NGC label #308289-004 included, and it shows the attribution and Reiver provenance).
