1884: Provisional 20 pa. on 5 pi. green, a vertical pair used on 1884 cover to Cyprus tied by "Port Said / Depart" cds (July 14). Reverse with Alexandrie transit cds (July 15) and superb "LIMASSOL / CYPRUS" squared circle of arrival (July 18) in black. The letter with edge wear and somewhat browned possibly due to treatment during the 1883-1884 Egyptian Cholera epidemic; a scarce usage of this issue to an unusual destination.
