1865 (April 28): Cover to Amsterdam, franked with 1862 50 r. green and 100 r. lilac horizontal strip of three both tied by dotted "1" cancel, correctly franked for the second weight class, manuscript "2" overstamped "Franco", postmarked Lisbon (28 Apr), "50" (mils) in manuscript denoting the Spanish portion and"1" (Silbergroschen) in blue the Prussian, backstamped Verviers / Coeln (3 May) and Amsterdam (4 May), some light edge discoloration, with trivial impact on adhesives, a scarce and impressive franking.
