Aden 1939, 1 a. pale blue, and 8 a. red-orange, used on first flight cover, from Aden to Nairobi, dated 10 February 1944, sent air mail, with violet framed "R.A.F. / CENSOR / 1" with heraldic emblem, signature over, the censor from ''8 Squadron'; the first civilian air mail service commenced 10 February 1944 from Aden to Nairobi operated by BOAC, the Lodestar aircraft going via Asmara and Khartoum; to reverse an arrival cachet for the "Commercial Union Assurance Co. Ltd" indicating it arrived 17 February, small tear at base centrally, otherwise fine, a very rare cover, almost certainly unique.
