1928: Waterlow 5 s. deep blue & deep blue-green, the famous example from the 1928 printing in this distinctive shade, unused with gum - only 240 stamps of the 5 s. value were printed by Waterlows for their file sheets, one sheet of 60 was filed in the Waterlow archives with the usual security punch-holes implanted, however two stamps escaped this method of mutilation, this being one of the two stamps / archive Proofs to avoid this.
