A couple points sharper with very fine granularity under rather glossy chocolate brown and steel toning. No marks or verdigris. The eye appeal is decent in spite of the imperfect surfaces. No roughness or verdigris and only a few minor marks. The most notable mark is a small planchet fissure on the rim left of the L in LIBERTY and this void extends through to the rim at TE in UNITED. The other notable marks are a rim nick left of the first S in STATES and a pinprick near the dentils left of the lower curls. LDS, Breen state IV, with strong cud breaks at RTY and MERIC. Glossy chocolate brown and steel with slightly lighter steel brown toning on the devices. A very attractive cent for the grade, just a few trivial marks from choice. A vertical nick in the field close before the neck and a tiny rim bruise at AM in AMERICA are good identifying marks. MDS, Breen state III, with an arcing die crack at STATE plus a lighter one from the rim right of the D in UNITED arcing through the wreath to the second S in STATES. Five points sharper but there are a few light, old scratches from the face near the eye into the hair at the left, all blended perfectly into the toning. In addition there is a dull diagonal nick under the curl on the neck, a small horizontal nick on the front edge of the neck, and a small collection of pinpricks near the dentils left of the denominator. Glossy light olive brown and chocolate. The eye appeal of this cent is excellent in spite of the minor marks. Nicely struck EDS, Breen state I. The "Mumps" break at the throat is strong, the Doubled Fraction Bar is clear, and the reverse is uncracked. A very nice example of this tough variety, and it comes with an interesting provenance. Includes 1805 S-267 R1 LDS PCGS Genuine VF Details Smoothed (our grade is F15+ sharpness net VG10 for uniform very fine granularity but there is no trace of "smoothing") and 1811/10 S-286 R3 Overdate 11 over 10 EDS NGC VF Details Corrosion (our grade VF30 sharpness net VG10 for uniform light roughness).  Lot 413 - united states draped bust cents - Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc. Pre-Long Beach Auction #841803 S-258 R1 Small Date, Large Fraction PCGS graded AU50, CAC Approved. Frosty steel brown and chocolate with lighter brown and tan toning faded down from mint color in protected areas on the reverse. No spots or stains, and the only contact marks are some very faint hairline scratches in the field before the portrait (and these are visible only under strong magnification). This cent offers excellent eye appeal and shows only light wear on the highpoints. M-LDS, Breen state III, with a long die crack that arcs up through the 1 in the date and lower curls to the dentils left of the hair ribbon. Our grade is VF30+, close to VF35. Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel with slightly lighter highpoints from a delicate cleaning. The surfaces are smooth except for traces of very light roughness at the top of the reverse. A dent in the center of the obverse created a minor bulge in the center of the reverse causing extra wear on EN in CENT. The date and legends are complete and easily readable although a couple letters are weak. Rare M-LDS, Breen state III, with a cud break at RTY but no cud at MERIC. Our grade is VG7 sharpness net G5.
